Our Managed IT Services is "Compliance-Ready IT". This means every resolved IT issue contributes to documented compliance. Additionally, we offer comprehensive Compliance Enablement services — implementing and maintaining the controls for frameworks such as CMMC 2.0, NIST 800-171 (Rev 3), NIST 800-53, PCI, HIPAA, GDPR, and WCAG. We are an enablement partner, not a C3PAO or certifying body: we get you ready and keep you ready, and independent assessors verify.
We don't just recommend this approach — we run it ourselves. ADS operates a documented internal security program mapped to NIST 800-171 and CMMC 2.0 Level 2, so the controls we implement for you are the controls we live by. And we're building Compliance.Dog, a platform (in development) that turns everyday IT work into continuous audit evidence — the software layer under our Compliance-Ready IT model.

Daniel Horning
CEO & Founder
Dan founded American Digital Services in 1998 and has spent more than 20 years designing, securing, and running scalable systems across the public and private sectors. He leads the firm's compliance-driven IT and cybersecurity work and builds WCAG-accessible websites and custom web applications.
His focus areas span CMMC and NIST 800-171 enablement, Microsoft 365 and cloud platforms (Azure and AWS), and full-stack development. Based in Schenectady, NY, he holds an associate degree in business management with a cybersecurity focus and stays current through the Microsoft Partner Network.
